My Commission as an Architectural Photographer:
After working for years as a portrait and wedding photographer, I have learned that "art" of capturing emotion is what melts your client's hearts. It is the still capture of an emotional moment that they hang in their homes and carry in their memory. This is after all what your clients look for when they purchase your images.
For me, real estate and architectural photography is no different...
Every building, every room, every landmark... has it's own story, it's own personality.
Typically architectural photography is renowned for it's crisp attention to technical perfection.
Technical perfection, while monumentally important, is just the tip of the icicle when creating images of "spaces and places."
If you cannot convey HOW IT FEELS as well as HOW IT LOOKS,
then, what is the point?
